This three-day training sequence engages math teachers (grades 4-8) in studying the progression of learning across middle grades and the key competencies of problem solving, connections, and reasoning and proof. Each session engages participants in experiential-based learning with participants completing activities from high-quality instructional materials through the viewpoint of students and reflecting from an instructional and pedagogical lens.
Participant Outcomes:
This professional development series was designed and developed by NDDPI, NDREA, and district personnel in partnership with SchoolKit.
DELIVERY: This series will be offered over 3 full-day FACE-TO-FACE sessions throughout the school year.

CREDIT: This opportunity is offered for 1 optional graduate continuing education credit through VCSU (separate fee required). Participants must attend all 3 days to be eligible for credit.
