Description

Session Description: This one-day, face-to-face opportunity provides educators with practical, content agnostic comprehension strategies to assist learners with reading comprehension. In addition, two one-hour implementation sessions will assist in day-to-day application of the comprehension strategies.

Objectives: Upon completion of this offering, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the purpose of reading comprehension support.
  2. Evaluate reading comprehension strategies
  3. Create a plan for implementing strategies to support reading comprehension.

Time

Supporting Learners in Reading Comprehension - Winter Cohort 2026-Bismarck/Minot & Virtual

  1. April 16th (8:30-3:30pm CT) - Facilitated Training (Bismarck OR Minot)
  2. April 22nd (8:00-9:00am CT) - Implementation Support Session #1 (Virtual)
  3. May 7th (8:00-9:00am CT) - Implementation Support Session #2 (Virtual)

Participants are required to attend all sessions in the series. Virtual Links will be shared upon registration.

Location

Bismarck/Minot & Virtual (venues TBD)

This session is offered in TWO locations on April 16th--Bismarck  and Minot. Please select session location during registration.
