CREA - NDSoR: Supporting Readers Across Content Using Lexiles-VIRTUAL-02/04/26

Description

This half day virtual professional learning opportunity allows educators and coaches an understanding of the Lexile Framework for Reading and how it can be implemented in the classroom. Participants will learn about and explore the different tools available on the Lexile Hub. Educators will evaluate their current benchmark data to plan for differentiated instruction for their students. During the Sandbox Opportunity, participants will work to develop a plan to use a feature from the Lexile Hub for future use in their classroom.

Objectives:

  • Understand the Lexile framework for reading
  • Engage in practice opportunities within the Lexile hub
  • Create a plan for implementation of resources and information explored in the Lexile hub 

Audience: K-12 Educators, Title 1 Educators, Interventionists, Library Media Specialists, Literacy Coaches.
