DESCRIPTION:Matching curricular resources with ND ELA content standards doesn't have to be daunting! Standards Alignment for ELA Curricular Resources supports educators inaligning curricular resources to the ND ELA Content Standards. This series assistseducators in selecting a curricular resource OR better understanding previously purchased resources for standards alignment. Support with identification of necessary supplemental materials is also included.Part 1: Face-to-Face Training - Standards Alignment of Resources\nParticipants will examine ELA Curricular Resources to align to the ND Content Standards for gaps\, overlaps\, and omissions. Findings will frame responsive action steps for educators.Part 2: Virtual - Responsive Action Support\nParticipants will be supported with new learning to address findings during three\, one hour virtual sessions: 1) From Alignment to Action: Closing the Gaps   Participants will focus on standards that require additional instructional attention due to lack of sufficient student learning and practice.2) Deepening Learning through Intentional Practice - Participants will discusseffective strategies that address areas where the alignment work revealed limited depth of instruction.3) Addressing Overlaps and Ensuring Content Progression   Participants will collaborate to determine when repetition supports mastery versus when it creates redundancy in order to build a clearer progression of literacy skills and maximize instructional time.Objectives:\n1.
