DESCRIPTION
Put your data to work for you! Through hands-on experiences, learn key guidelines and tips for interpreting data and viewing reports at the student, classroom, school, district, and national levels. Learn how to really understand and apply the data to guide instruction and intervention, plan student groupings, etc. See how to use data to facilitate improved educational outcomes for students.
Different grade levels will be addressed at different times. Participants are encouraged to attend any/all times that are relevant to their work:
Learning Objectives:
1. Reflect on the purpose of benchmark screening and progress monitoring, as well as the key principles of data analysis and utilization within your school system
2. Access key group benchmark reports and distinguish what reports can predict future outcomes and/or how each can drive timely, standards based instructional choices
3. Practice using specific benchmark data for program evaluation, as well as individual student support and instruction development
DELIVERY: This single-day training specific to NWEA will be delivered VIRTUALLY. The zoom link to join the session will be sent out to registrants one week prior to the event.
