BHERO, in partnership with FirstLink, is hosting "What Happens When You Call 988?" As a result of this training, participants will gain a basic understanding of FirstLink and the services they provide, learn the difference between 211 and 988, understand what callers can expect when they reach out to FirstLink, and recognize the common reasons individuals contact the helplines. Participants will also learn how FirstLink supports callers through listening, resource referrals, crisis intervention, and safety planning. FirstLink will share follow-up options like the Care & Support Program.
