Central Regional Education Association’s new-to-region NDRISE/CREA Beginning Teacher Network is designed for 1st-and 2nd-year- and those new to the field, beginning their teaching journey in the central region of North Dakota, or looking for support in using key strategies of classroom management, student engagement, and overall best-practices.

  • Work with teachers in the Central Region of ND, creating a community of K-12 colleagues in the same region.

Maximizing Student Engagement via Intentional Planning

  • Cognitive & Behavioral Student Engagement Strategies

  • Whole & Small-Group Engagement

  • Maximizing Instructional Minutes

Using a Trauma-Informed, Student & Family-Centered Approach

  • Trauma Sensitive Schools Professional Learning Curriculum

  • Foundations of Poverty Framework

Delivery: This series is offered over multiple sessions, with a mixture of face-to-face and online sessions. 

Credit: 2 graduate credits will be available through Valley City State University.
