Description

CREA Minot Winter PD Day is intended to support area educators from participating member schools to implement best-practice educational strategies and development of a system to support students’ individual needs. CREA Minot Winter PD Day is designed to provide access to meaningful professional development aligned with the following indicators as written in NDCC 15.1-07-34: 

• Trauma;
• Resiliency; 
• Suicide prevention; 
• Bully prevention;
• Knowledge of behavioral health symptoms & risks; 
• Awareness of referral sources & evidence-based strategies for appropriate interventions;
• Other evidence-based strategies to reduce risk factors for students; and
• Current or new evidence-based behavior prevention or mitigation techniques.
