PRE-REQUISITES:  This series is only available to NDMTSS teams that have completed NDMTSS: Developing Pathways for Academics and NDMTSS: Evaluating Your System.

REGISTRATION: This professional learning series requires completion of an MOU signed by the building administrator on or prior to January 15th. When clicking "Register" you'll be directed to the flyer with the link to the MOU for completion.

DESCRIPTION: The facilitated training days with the NDMTSS Team, along with Shannon Harken, will assist teams as they analyze data at all levels of their system to determine the overall effectiveness of their MTSS system.  Teams will come away with an enhanced understanding of how to use their data to guide and strengthen the MTSS process to ensure all student succeed and all staff are equipped and supported with resources needed to produce positive outcomes for all.  

OBJECTIVES: 

• Understand and Analyze District and School level data 
• Understand, develop and conduct effective data meeting agendas, protocols, and calendar
• Create/Refine Assessment Calendar
• Use the Problem-Solving Model to make effective and efficient decisions for all stakeholders at all Tiers
• Reevaluate and Enhance MTSS
• Revisit walk to learn and new student protocols

DELIVERY: This professional learning series will be offered as a combination of 1 2-hour virtual session, 2 full-day face-to-face sessions and 3 90-minute online coaching calls throughout the school year.

AUDIENCE:  School leadership teams of 6-10 individuals; including Administrators (REQUIRED to have at least one); special educators; instructional coaches; MTSS coordinators; lead teachers; counselors.

CREDIT:  1 graduate continuing education credit available for application through VCSU after participating in all required sessions/activities and submitting the application fee.
