DESCRIPTION:

This session will review best practices in diagnostic assessment within an MTSS framework for academics and behavior.  Participants will build an understanding of diagnostic assessment, how it applies in an MTSS model, and how it allows educators to provide a more specific intervention match for each learner.  This is an introductory diagnostic assessment session that will provide multiple examples and methods of diagnostic assessment processes.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Building Competence and Confidence for Educators in accessing, analyzing, and using data to inform instructional decision making at each level of assessment.
  2. Understand the purpose of diagnostic assessment, when it is necessary, and how it is applied in the MTSS process.
  3. Understand how diagnostic assessment can lead to a stronger intervention match.

DELIVERY:  This 90-minute training will be delivered VIRTUALLY.
