Features of Effective Math Instruction Workshop is for teachers, school administrators, instructional coaches, and ND REA staff. Participants will explore the following elements of research-based mathematics instruction:
Following the study of these elements, participants will analyze their current math textbook using the Textbook Effective Math Instruction Scoring Rubric to determine current curriculum’s strengths and weaknesses and apply knowledge gained in the Features of Effective Math Instruction workshop to address identified weaknesses in textbook.

DELIVERY: This opportunity will be delivered over 2-full day consecutive days Face-to-Face.
AUDIENCE: Elementary & Secondary Classroom Teachers, Instructional Coaches, Administrators
CREDIT: 1 credit available through Valley City State University.
COST: $50/person
When you arrive, you will enter through the commons or vision doors and make your way to the reception desk. Please bring a government issued ID or passport for check-in.
The reception team will issue you a visitor badge and the onsite sponsor or Coordinator will guide you to the event space.
