Features of Effective Math Instruction: Explicit Systematic Instruction (FEMI: ESI) professional learning series equips educators with an understanding of key features of effective mathematics instruction improving achievement in math. Engagement in the Trainer Cohort is an opportunity to receive support and essential resources to deliver the FEMI: ESI professional learning series with fidelity in local context, and to become part of a statewide network of trainers engaging in ongoing technical assistance and support.
Objectives:
Understand FEMI: ESI content from the perspective as a prospective trainer
Identify continued areas of learning to ensure fidelity and coherence of training content and delivery.
Apply effective instructional practices to training delivery.
Understand how to access essential FEMI: ESI resources.
